Hey fellas,
How would you feel about a possible rule change allowing for players who start the season injured to come back from their injuries with either no wait period or a shortened wait period?
At the beginning of the season I would ask for two line-ups:
(1) What your line-up would be assuming 100% health. (2) Your line-up that you will actually use to start the season.
If a player is on list 1, but not on list 2 due to injury, he could come back with either no wait period or a wait period shorter than three days.
Any thoughts?
Cheers, JR

I like the idea but does it need to be that complicated? Already if we take a player out due to injury, when they return they don’t wait the 3 days. So how about we just extend that to the beginning of the season? So if a guy is injured at the start of the season when they are healthy you can just put them in as if they are returning from injury and skip the 3 day wait.

I don't think we need to submit two line up.
We only have to say that any player on the injury list on Day 1 could be insert in the active roster at any time, without 3 days waiting.
Otherwise, I think the 3 days waiting time is useful to prevent abuse (game counting or sort of)

I like the idea of not having to wait 3 days to put in a player to be active. Waiting 3 weeks or whatever it is for the benched player to be put back in is fine.
The original post of jr's seems a little complicated. (guess I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed)

The three day wait period for injured players makes no sense to me. You're not counting games when a guy is injured. Seems like you're getting penalized for having an injury on your team.
